Hi, welcome to my new FIFA patch project. I’m well known as MSLPatcher in all my gamepatch works but I’m also known as Skeptik in Soccergaming.com.  Well this is my forth Malaysia League patch project.

The first are Malaysia Super League for FIFA 09, which later expanded to include both Malaysia Super League and Premier League for FIFA09, MSLPL4FIFA09 for short.

The second FIFA patch comes from a request. So a birth of Malaysia Super League for FIFA08, or MSL4FIFA08 just a months after the first project.

The third project are for FIFA 10. The first version of MSLPL4FIFA10 were born, but still using season 2009 line-up,  in late December 2009.  Unfortunately due to time constraint, second version never realised to update with later roster of season 2010.

The forth project a for FIFA11. So stay with us for MSLPL4FIFA11PC, which will includes both Liga Premier and Liga Super. Still it is meant for PC version.

Stay with us.

I am a huge fan of your work! You are slowly turning me into a fan of Malaysian football.

I have also decided to try some team and graphic design this year, but I’m finding it difficult. I’ve been using your Malaysia national team release as my education, exploring the databases. I would like to do the same with your complete Malaysian league release, but DBM 11 will not open it for me. Perhaps it is because I don’t have your fifa_ng_db-meta.xml file? It locks up as it tries to load the database.

I will try not to bug you with silly questions. But as I work with this and try to learn the structure, are you willing to occasionally answer a question for me? If so, what is the easiest way to contact you?

Thanks very much for your work! It is first-rate!!

I accept the last word as a compliment. Thank you. Usually I have daily routine of quick-browse at soccergaming.com/forums. You can PM me there.

As for opening the database, there is nothing wrong with it. DBM11 beta 5 still can open the file but it takes a longer time. In my case, it takes about 10 minutes or so. I have no idea why, and I already mentioned this to Rinaldo, the programmer of DBM11.

From my previous experience, I found out that once the db size exceeding 2716KB, DBM11 will take a longer time to open the file. DBM11 may looks stall, but if you let it run (hints:see the blinking led of HDD) and wait a little longer, it will open the file and you can resume works/editing/reviewing the database.

In short, probably I can safely say, as far as fifa_ng_db.db file size do not exceeding 2716KB, DBM11 can open it quickly without hassle. But once the size exceeding that size or bigger, DBM11 will take more than 10 minutes to open it. So you just have to wait till DBM11 responding again.

BTW, is this you? http://www.wku.edu/pcal/ron-demarse .
